About Temple of Deliverance College of Theology

Founded in 2011 by Dr. Ralph McGlown, Temple of Deliverance College of Theology has a rich history of training pastors, missionaries, and other Christian leaders. We are committed to biblical truth, spiritual formation, and the development of practical ministry skills, equipping students to effectively serve in diverse ministry contexts.

Accredited by the Association of Independent Christian Colleges and Schools (AICCS). Our unique approach to theological education emphasizes hands-on experience and mentorship from experienced pastors, ensuring that our graduates are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities of ministry.

Dr. Ralph McGlown serves as the President and Founder of the Temple of Deliverance College of Theology (TODCOT). A distinguished professor and respected theologian, he provides the visionary leadership that drives the institution’s academic and spiritual mission. Beyond the classroom, Dr. Ralph McGlown is a dedicated community leader committed to fostering theological excellence and professional development for all students.

Dr. Ella McGlown is a foundational pillar of TODCOT, providing comprehensive support across all administrative and academic departments. Her multifaceted role ensures the seamless operation of the institution, from student services to executive planning.

Dr. Patrice Reddick serves as the Dean of Temple of Deliverance College of Theology, where she is dedicated to supporting the success of both students and faculty. She is committed to fostering a collaborative and enriching academic community.

Dr. Byrone Reddick is a dedicated professor at Temple of Deliverance College of Theology, committed to equipping students with a deep understanding of biblical studies. He is also the creator of the popular elective course, “A Joyous Journey through the Book of St. John,” demonstrating his passion for making biblical studies accessible and engaging.

Dr. Taulton Dancy is a dedicated educator and leader committed to academic excellence and student development.

Apostle Marcia Nicholson serves as a distinguished professor at TODCOT, bringing years of experience as an educator and scholar to the institution. Specializing in Biblical Studies and Theology, she is dedicated to providing students with a deep, scholarly understanding of the scriptures while fostering spiritual maturity. Her classroom is a place of rigorous study and transformative learning.

Professor Girlinda Reese is a dedicated educator at TODCOT, known for her commitment to student mentorship and academic growth. Bringing a wealth of knowledge to the classroom, she focuses on empowering students to achieve their full potential through engaging instruction and a supportive learning environment.

Professor Lonnie Reese brings extensive experience and a practical approach to theological education at TODCOT. As a professor and a valued member of the college leadership, he is dedicated to preparing students for impactful service within their communities through rigorous study and leadership development.

Admissions

Application Process

To apply to Temple of Deliverance College of Theology, please follow these steps:

  1. Register and Apply: Visit our registration page at https://todcot.com/register to create an account and access the online application form. Ensure all sections of the application are fully and accurately completed.

  2. Submit Transcripts: Request official transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities. Have these transcripts sent directly to our admissions office at:

  3. Personal Statement: Submit a 250-500 word personal statement outlining your reasons for pursuing theological education, your spiritual journey, and your ministry goals. (Optional: “Print out, email, or upload your statement as a PDF through the application portal.”)

  4. Letters of Recommendation: Provide two letters of recommendation from individuals who can speak to your character, academic abilities, and ministry potential. (Optional: “Letters should be submitted electronically through the application portal, email, or Letters should be mailed directly to the admissions office.”)

  5. Statement of Faith: Submit a 250-500 word written statement of faith outlining your beliefs and theological understanding. (Optional: “Print out, email, or upload your statement as a PDF through the application portal.”)

  6. Application Fee: Pay the non-refundable application fee of $100. Payment can be made via:
